In a plush little pocket of Islington, housed in a former sawmill, Centrestage Studios is a 10000 ft slice of central London that has been lovingly crafted into two well equipped film stages and a comfortable canteen.

We cater, in the main part, for broadcasters, commercials, corporate films, music promos, stills photography and events.

We built these studios from scratch after our former abode in Euston was flattened by evil developers; we brought all of our experience and equipment over to our current residence, which is an extremely convenient and highly practical facility, fastidiously clean and generally fitted out to make your visit that much more pleasant and comfortable.
The stages are soundproofed and benefit from U–shaped cycloramas which we have lit with pre–rigged Skypanels and Cyclights.

A–Stage has a white cyc and B–Stage has a chromakey green cyc.
They both have production offices with phones and internet, makeup and wardrobe facilities, scaffold grids, sinks, drive–in access, loading areas, decent on–site parking and plenty of electricity.

Our canteen is a very comfortable space and our kitchen is run in some style by chef Michelle.
We like good food and our catering has always been highly regarded.

The canteen is adjacent to both stages and, outside mealtimes, it doubles as a great space for visitors to work or relax offstage.

B–Stage provides drive–in access to load a large stock of gear, which we keep here at the studios.
We do ask that all equipment be booked through us please.
We own tungsten, fluorescent and LED lighting, plus ancillary equipment such as flags, frames, textiles, boom arms, stands, dimming, distribution, cable and plenty of other general, and not so general lighting grip.

We have invested in low carbon technology and were the first studio in London to rig LED Spacelights in our grid.
Whilst being less disgusting in terms of CO2 emissions, they also keep the stage considerably cooler and your energy bill much lower than their incandescent predecessors.
