WHAT!?

What is this site about
Studiohire began life over three years ago because some fed-up photographer thought it might be useful if they could find a list of available studios for hire that can be referred to without the need to Google and invent new keywords everytime. The site is sub-divided into six sections, namely
1) Studios - for studios, homes and locations

2) Services - contacts for photographic services eg. lighting, films, modelling agencies, assistants, props etc

3) News - we post these

4) What's On - Galleries, exhibitions of interest (with archives)

5) Forums - we have been getting emails requesting help or information regarding a whole leap of topics. They range from "distorted mirrors in Scotland" to "studios in South London with an indoor swimming pool" to "how do you get started on a photographic career?". Whilst we aim to please and help when we can, this can restricting with regards to promptness of reply and the range of solutions that we are able to offer, if any. You would get a better range of responses if they were posted on the site in this section (though that would require logging in first). That way, everyone gets to contribute and share.

6) For Sale - Post your new/used items for sale here. This is restricted to private sales only. Logging in is required to post your items

What is MY PAGE?

A few ways:

2) From the 'FIND' button in the banner, you will be able to narrow your search options for a more specific results. eg. Find a studio in London with a roof garden within a specific day hire price range.
3) Posting an entry in the forums (see above) under the 'Studios' category if the CUSTOM FIND results do not meet your needs.

We can, and used to answer all the emails that come through to us regarding but it is better that you post your question in the appropriate category in the forums. This way everyone gets to share that information and everybody gets to pool their knowledge - which will provide a more rounded answer than if it is just coming from the site alone.
