To help the photographic industry deal with practically anything connected with
the business. We also aim to bring the photographic community together to a
dialogue for exchanging and sharing information. This is why we have introduced
the following categories.

| FORUMS |

Please use the forum for your questions as everybody gets to benefit from
it. Your replies will be more rounded this way, as it is coming from the
whole community. This way, you are no longer at our mercy, waiting for us to
reply to your emails as it was with the old site. Back then; it was only our
(just one) person's knowledge. The forum will provide a more rounded answer
with multiple inputs, as there is a wealth of information that the community is
only too willing to share.
You can start a new thread or reply to an existing one in the forums. Please
use the appropriate category and if you'd like to add a new category, then let
us know.

| FOR SALE |

This is an area where you can trade, exchange or sell your items. This is
mainly for one-off items and NOT for professional services and items. Abuse of
the facility will result in your item being taken off and a warning issued.
It's basic but will allow you to post a small message and a picture of the sale
item with your contact details (telephone) coming by your account registration.
All sale items will be managed by yourselves and will expire 21 days from date
of posting the 'for sale' item. To renew the item you will need to post it
again. Sorry! This is to ensure that old items are deleted and that you check
your posted item(s) regularly.
You can also delete the item if you decide to withdraw, or if the item is
traded, before then.

| GUEST BOOK AND STUDIO RATINGS |

Sign the guestbooks as well as rate and review the studios that you've used for
the benefit of the studios and other users.
Beware that your registered name will be listed in when you sign the book -
this is to ensure accountability.
We look forward to your input and help make this site grow and benefit your
business.

| Points mean... |

Studiohire has introduced a points reward scheme; these are acquired each time
you log in. We will be giving certain promotions away once we are fully up to
speed in the summer. Watch the news page for updates.

| COST |

Since 1999 studiohire has been free but unfortunately this could not continue.
We are trying to make more than just another web site, we hope to make this
site into a community and to do that takes time plus resources and with that
comes a price.
All membership, except for studios (see below) is FREE - for photographic
professionals, models, hair & makeup artists, assistants, students and
other individuals.
If you are a service provider and wish to put your company or service on the
site but feel that we do not have the right category for you, email us at
info@studiohire.com with your requirements and we will try and
introduce it to the list. Any other queries or suggestions can be sent to the
same email address.
For the studios, homes, locations and other similar premises (or business), we
have made the cost is as minimal as we could, so it will be free for the first
month and after that there is a monthly charge of £15.00 per month.
